Card Review
Students need a credit card as opposed to cash because it's the easier way to make purchases. The UPSide Student Prepaid Visa Card provides three different plans that make it easy to access the account, including adding funds and making it possible for the cardholder to use the ATM with the card. Each version is based upon a student's actual needs and can therefore be individualized.
Parents can fund the card in many different ways and there is never a chance for a student to get into debt while using the card. The money that is placed on the card is safe, even if they lose the card for whatever reason. The card is flexible enough to allow paychecks to be directly deposited into the account and there is an online account management tool that makes it easy for the cardholder to view their spending and learn financial responsibility.
