Secured Credit Card Offers

A secured credit card is simply a card that you have loaded with the amount of money that will be available on your card. In other words the bank is not actually offering credit. However, if you have less than pristine credit you may be motivated to mend your credit and a secured card may be one way to help accomplish that goal. There are certain things you should consider before choosing your secured card. For example, how much money do you want to secure? Will the bank card company charge? Are the charges different from bank to bank? How easy is it to apply? How soon will you receive a response? How often - if at all - do they report to the major credit bureaus?
