Guaranteed Approval Card Offers
Some credit card companies offer guaranteed approval, this is especially common with 'bad credit' and student credit card offers. These cards frequently have a relatively low limit, a higher interest rate (though not necessarily outrageous), and may require employment, an applicant age of at least 18 years, and a valid social security card. Some card offers now sweeten the pot with a low or nonexistent introductory interest rate. Pre-paid cards fall into this category. They require that you 'load' in advance the amount you will be charging. Since guaranteed approval cards may not be available in all states (or outside the United States) and may have more or fewer requirements. Do your homework for your area and apply for selected credit card offer online.
