The Discover Student Card - Onyx Monogram is a personalized student card designed to assist individuals having limited or bad credit build up a solid history with correct usage. Accepted applicants will receive a fixed interest rate - which is highly dependent on credit worthiness as determined by the card issuer. Better qualified card members may get included in an introductory APR period lasting throughout a disclosed period.
Card members who spend frequently will have the opportunity to gather cash bonuses on virtually every purchase. Select purchases from participating retailers' award discounts and cash bonuses. Purchases on everyday items like gas, travel, restaurant, groceries and departmental store purchases receive bonuses up to 5%. There is no limit to cash earnable and those already earned would not expire unless the card account becomes delinquent or inactive.
Rewards are redeemed in $20 increments. Options include cash, merchandise, and gift cards.
Additional benefits include online account management, online bill pay, zero fraud liability, email remainders - to avoid late fees, and customer support within 60 seconds.
