Discover Student Card is designed to serve students in need of a credit card. Young adults are a category of consumers more likely to have little or no credit history. Discover puts all this in mind, setting very low qualification requirements for this card. Almost anyone can apply but credit lines may differ based on credit worthiness.
Card members enjoy the luxury of paying no interest throughout a mid term intro period. No annual fee is charged.
Cash back bonus up to 1% is awarded per transaction. Eligible everyday purchases earn 5%. There is not limit to how much a card member earns, and rebates already acquired never expire. Reward options include cash, merchandise, gift cards and travel credit.
The card provides premium benefits to its members. Fraud protection guarantee, late payment reminder, secure online purchasing with special numbers are just a few to mention. Online account management and other internet related services help card members keep up to date on past expenditure.
