Discover Student Card - Clear is a credit card designed for college students and young adults in need of the right card with which to improve credit ratings and build a solid history. It's a card charging highly competitive interest rates. There's no annual fee nevertheless, card members are made privy to numerous card benefits - some at no extra cost.
On the card reward program, card members earn 1% on virtually every purchase transaction. Online purchases through ShopDiscover, an exclusive online shopping site, receive cash back bonuses from 5 - 20%. Once the card member spends more than $3,000 for the year, cash bonuses go to 1%. Before then, cash bonuses start at .25% before improving to .50% with more than $1,500 in annual purchases.
Additional benefits card members avail of include online account access, online secure account numbers, travel accident and auto rental insurance.
