Capital One Platinum Prestige is a credit card designed for consumers with excellent credit. There's a long term introductory APR period applied towards purchases and balance transfers. Afterwards, interest charged on purchases and balance transfers remain low. Balance transfers incur a 3% transfer fee.
There is no annual charge and card members are not privileged to a reward program but receive a host of benefits. Purchases at the Capital One Saving Zone on Yahoo! Shopping receive up to 40% discounts on certain purchases.
Free insurance on accidental dismemberment during travel and damage on car rentals, round the clock road assistance and customer support, emergency card replacement, and extended warranty on qualifying products are amongst the benefits. Card members are non-liable for unauthorized card use.
