Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card is designed for individuals having good credit and above. It's a credit card charging modest purchase interest. During its' mid term intro period, card members incur very low interest on purchase and balance transfer transactions.
Card members receive 10,000 bonus points on a first purchase. Purchasing items worth up to $15,000 during the first 6 months of membership qualifies to receive an additional 15,000 bonus points. Eligible purchases earn a single point while Starwood purchases earn double points. There's no yearly limit but card members lose points after a year of card inactivity.
Members benefit online account management and automatic bill payment at no extra cost. Purchasing from retailers under the Offer Zone comes with discounts and add-on benefits.
A travel and emergency assistance service helps to make things easier for traveling members. Travel accident insurance compensates up to $100,000, while auto rental insurance comes at no extra cost.
